South Dakota is home to some of the most spectacular landmarks in the country. Mount Rushmore National Memorial is a gigantic, iconic 60-foot sculpture of U.S. presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln carved into the side of Mount Rushmore. There’s also a museum with multiple interactive educational exhibits.

Mountain Sweet Honey Company is committed to supplying South Dakota beekeepers with superior honey bees and industry-leading customer service. We ship package bees on a weekly schedule from mid-March to May and our apiaries are nestled in the beautiful northeast Georgia mountains.

If you’re a beginner, we offer first-year hive kits that have all the necessary equipment for a successful and productive beehive.

You can also find bee health items in our shop including essential oils (tea tree, lemongrass), pollen, mite treatments, and supplements.

Located in the wonderful north Georgia Mountains, Mountain Sweet Honey Company started as a small hobby and has grown into a productive full-time business. We started selling honey bees and a few beekeeping items in our second year of business and we now ship honeybees across the U.S. and offer a full line of beekeeping supplies.
