Our bees are inspected by the Georgia Department of Agriculture and will have a Georgia Department of Agriculture Health Certificate stapled on the outside of the shipping crate. We have packaged bees for sale for the 2026 bee season with multiple dates available. We proudly offer Italian honey bees. We are proud to be a member of the Illinois State Beekeepers Association. Having begun as a hobby, Mountain Sweet Honey Company turned into a full-time business almost overnight. There was a huge demand for local honey which meant our number of hives had to grow too. During our second year in business, we started selling honey bees and some beekeeping items. Our attention has always been directed toward providing chemical free bees.
