Bee Season 2020 Weekly Update – APRIL 24, 2020

Per the Department of Homeland Security exemption listing, Mountain Sweet Honey is exempt as agricultural business, as we are governed by the Georgia Department of Agriculture.  USPS is also exempt from quarantine orders on a state level and national level.

We continue to send our bee packages on schedule. We have experienced significant delivery issues with shipping bee packages with UPS.  Ray made a decision last week to no longer ship bees with UPS because UPS will no longer guarantee overnight shipments will be delivered as scheduled.  COVID-19 products are getting preferred delivery status and that is where the stress is in the UPS logistics. We will continue to ship through USPS.
We now only have two Italian bee package dates. One in April and the other in May. We will be sold out in the very near future. If you need bees, don’t wait!
