Wax Coated Deep Hive Body

Quality beekeeping supplies are important to beekeepers.  Our 10 frame deep hive body or brood box is where the queen and her brood reside during the warmer months of the year. Our 10 frame deep hive body is made from Eastern White Pine from New England.  We have “hot dipped” the super in paraffin wax to seal the wood fibers for up to 20 years of use.  No painting is needed as the wood fibers have been sealed.  Paraffin wax will not stick to other supers during the hot summer days.

There will be some brown or black knots on the deep hive body.
