Hurricane Ian will have a bigger impact from coast-to-coast

Hurricane Ian destroyed up to 380,000 hives in Florida. What are the ramifications of such a high loss of bee colonies?  Ray Civitts discusses not only the bee loss in Southwest Florida but commercial beekeepers were also effected with significant loss.  Add bee losses from California flooding and you will see a total bee loss of 600,000 hives lost in the last 8 months.  Can the honey bee industry produce enough beekeeping supplies and honey bees to replace the tremendous loss from this flooding?
