Can you have two entrances to a bee hive?

Having 2 entrances in a bee hive can be problematic for your honey bees.  With a traditional one entry way there are guard bees protecting the bee hive.  Under normal circumstances there will be enough guard honey bees to protect the single entry way.  When we as beekeepers add an additional entry way for our bees, they will difficult at best to protect the two entry ways.  It is important to state that all hives should should have the following beekeeping supplies, entrance reducer or a beast blocker, to reduce the robbing from other hives and to keep
